Prospective Students

Let this be the first of many friendly greetings! If you come for a campus visit you will be met by a member of the English Graduate Student Association who will take you on a guided tour of our campus and around the city of Tulsa. Over a meal we’ll have a chance to talk about the program, assistantship or fellowship responsibilities, and our faculty and community.

Plainly put, you will have someone to confide in about your fears, concerns, and questions regarding graduate study in English. We have a mentoring program that pairs an incoming graduate student with a senior graduate with similar interests. As a result of our mentoring program there is a real sense of camaraderie and community among us graduate students. Below are links to information about our program, the graduate school, assistantships, fellowships, and suggested places to stay and things to see in Tulsa!
